About Me

Hello, I'm Ben Cremin, a photographer based in Swindon, in the South West of England. Most of my work is about documenting people and place, close to home rather than far from it.

I started taking regular photowalks around Swindon just after the first COVID lockdowns eased, mostly as a way to get outside with a camera and pay closer attention to a town I already knew well. That habit turned into documenting.swindon on Instagram, a visual diary of what I find on those walks rather than a fixed project with a set brief.

I'm an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society, and I'm currently studying for a BA in Photography with the Open College of Arts. Both have pushed me to think harder about why I make the photographs I do, not just how.

I'm open to collaborating on personal and creative projects, whether that's a commission, a joint venture, or just a conversation about photography in Swindon.
